Awesome Easter Baskets Delivered to Phoenix Children’s Hospital
April 2011
All the bunnies at Dudley Ventures put together fun Easter Baskets for children staying at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital for our April Spirit Day. Over 20 baskets were delivered to PCH on Friday, April 22nd. Each and every basket was thoughtfully created according to age group - infant, toddler, pre-school age, school age and teenagers. These type of donations help to make hospitalization a little happier for patients and their families.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital has provided hope, healing and the best healthcare for children and families since 1983. Today, Phoenix Children’s is one of the ten largest children's hospitals in the country and provides specialty and sub-specialty inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families in Arizona and throughout the Southwest.
Phoenix Children’s believes that making children feel safe and comfortable is an integral part of the healing process. PCH provides children with the things that give them a little piece of home and this makes a tremendous difference in their stay. They have playrooms and teen rooms - where adults must be invited in - that allow children to forget about their treatments and procedures. Toys are also a great and positive way to help children through a particularly rough time.
